Combined Value Experiences

Combined Value Experiences is another tool that our YW can use to complete more Value Experiences.  An author named Pond at pondsguidetopersonalprogress created a worksheet listing all of the values that had similar requirements and how they could be combined.

Faith #1 and Divine Nature #4
Faith #1 asks you to learn about the sacrament by reading some scriptures. Then it asks you to listen to and ponder during the sacrament prayers for three weeks.
Divine Nature #4 asks you to memorise the sacrament prayers and then asks you to practise keeping your baptismal covenant for two weeks.
These experience work nicely together because if you know the sacrament prayers then you will understand what the words mean. Each week as you ponder about the sacrament for Faith #1 you can also think about what you can do to improve your baptismal covenants for Divine Nature #4.

Divine Nature #3 and Individual Worth #4
Divine Nature #3 asks you to build and strengthen a relationship with a family member for two weeks.
Individual Worth #3 asks you to do all you can to make others feel of worth for two weeks.
Good Works #3 asks you list three ways you can comfort others, and then asks you to do those things on your list.
These experiences work nicely together because they all help you improve relationships with others and teach you to serve others.
You can pick a family member you wish to strengthen a relationship with for Divine Nature #3, write down three ways you can comfort and help bare their burdens and do them for Good Works #3, and tell them how much you appreciate them for Individual Worth #3.

Faith #3 and Knowledge #4
Faith #3 asks you to study a principle. Then present a FHE evening lesson on the principle you chose.
Knowledge #4 asks you to study a principle and give a five minute talk about it.
These experiences work perfectly together. You can choose the same principle, study it, give a FHE lesson about it, and then give the talk to your Young Women group (or in sacrament meeting).
Or, you can give the talk as part of your FHE lesson.

Faith #5, Choice and Accountability #4, and Virtue #4
Faith #5 asks you to learn about the atonement.
Choice and Accountability #4 asks you to learn about learn about repentance and apply it into your life.
Virtue #4 asks you to learn about repentance and commit to worthily partake of the sacrament.
These experiences work well together because they talk about the same topic. (Yes, I know there is more to the atonement than just repentance, but repentance is apart of the atonement.)

Choice and Accountability #5 and Virtue #2
Choice and Accountability #5 asks you to learn about the Holy Ghost.
Virtue #2 asks you to learn about staying worthy to feel the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
Integrity #2 and Integrity #5
Both ask you to improve a habit.

Choice and Accountability #2 and Integrity #1
Choice and Accountability #2 asks you to read For the Strength of Youth and choose three standards you wish to improve
Integrity #1 asks you to read For the Strength of Youth and keep your standards for at least a month.
These work well together because you only need to read For the Strength of Youth once. Then you need to choose three standards you wish to improve, improve them, and keep all the standards for at least a month.

Choice and Accountability #2, Integrity # 1, Integrity # 7, Virtue # 1, and Virtue #4
All of these experiences ask you to read some part of For the Strength of Youth. Some of them require you to read the entire pamphlet and others only one section. If you completed these experiences at the same time you would only need to read For the Strength of Youth once.
Read through it until you reach the section on family. Then reach it and complete Integrity #7. Read through it until you reach the section on repentance. Then read that section and complete Virtue #4. Continue reading until you reach the section on sexually purity. Then read that section and complete Virtue #1.
After you read through the entire pamphlet, complete Choice and Accountability #2 and Integrity # 1.

Faith #2, Divine Nature #2, Integrity #7, Virtue #1
All of these experiences ask you to read The Family: A Proclamation to the World. Read the document and then complete all these experiences together.

Knowledge #2 and Individual Worth #7
Knowledge #2 asks you to list the talents you have and others you would like to develop.
Individual Worth #7 asks you to find family members, friends, and leaders who will write down your positive qualities.
Once you write down your talents, ask others to do the same for you.
